The Global Orchestra is an international network of culture-bearing musicians and music educators who teach inspiring interactive workshops to kids and their communities everywhere -- either in-person or online -- and perform exuberant cross-cultural concerts for everyone.
THE GLOBAL ORCHESTRA consists of two independent but enthusiastically complementary parts — the Teaching Community and the Performing Ensemble.
1) THE GLOBAL ORCHESTRA TEACHING COMMUNITY: an international network of educators who bring global music to children no matter where they live. The network makes musical culture-bearers available for bookings both in person and online, enabling the network to include educators who can provide students with access to an extraordinary diversity of experiences, allowing our teachers to reach children in rural or distant parts of the world.
2) THE GLOBAL ORCHESTRA PERFORMING ENSEMBLE: a multicultural performing ensemble that consists of accomplished, culturally diverse musicians who fuse instruments and genres from around the world inspire kids and their communities in concerts at family-friendly festivals and community events.
