Our “Everything is a Drum” season is an exploration of global grooves, featuring percussion and pervasive rhythms from six continents. 

This season sings! Brazilian samba drumming? Check. Hindustani tabla? Check. Asymmetrical Bulgarian rhythms? Check. Pacific mati, Flamenco soleas, Jamaican dancehall . . . ? Check, check and…check.

Rather than venture around one geographic area as most other seasons do, touring a region one country at a time, in “Everything is a Drum” each class takes us to a different part of the world where we key in on rhythms that tell that region’s tale. Let’s go!
