A thousand thank yous for joining us this season, working together to blast borders, cross boundaries, and “connect the dots.” This season's lessons were substantially more conceptual than most. Rather than focusing on one geographic area, “traveling” county to country within that reagion each week, each lesson in “Connecting the Dots” started in one place and ended up in another, sometimes with neck snapping speed. Who would have guessed we'd start miming an Arabic classical violin and wind up playing Vivaldi on a fiddle? Could we have predicted we'd stomp through a church song in the Cook Islands only to end up shape note singing the eastern United States? We chased accordions around the globe, danced using only our hands, sang about working in a dozen ways from farming to building a railroad.

In all…? We learned LOTS. We sang, we danced, we had fun…and learned LOTS.
