wHAT ARE ALL AROUND THIS WORLD’s CLASSES?
All Around This World’s classes — the in-person/in West Philly version — are dynamic and interactive grown-up/child classes that introduce you and your little kids to the wealth of world cultures through singing, dancing and FUN!
WHAT AGE KIDS?
Al ages classes are best for infants-5 year-olds. If we do start a “babies only” class that one will be for kids a year old and younger, though more specifically it’s for kids who aren’t yet walking. (When the walking starts, they “graduate” to the “big kids’ class.”) For now though, all infants to 5 year-olds are welcome.
WHAT AGE GROWN-UPS?
All of us! Any parent/grandparent/relative/family-friend/caregiver is welcome. This is in active class — you and your kids sing, dance and play instruments together.
WHERE DOES CLASS TAKE PLACE?
We have a location set in a house in West Philly. Contact us for the address.
A SPECIAL TREAT — MEET LAURA!
This time ‘round you’ve lucked out! Laura Schutter will be your teacher, and this will rock! Laura is a musician, educator, world traveler and parent of two musical little ones; you may have met her and her kids when they were of the fantastic families taking recent All Around This West Philly classes. You’ll have a wonderful time exploring the world with Laura.
WHAT IS THE CLASS SCHEDULE?
Class will take place Thursday mornings at 10am.
WHAT DOES CLASS COST?
FOR WEEKLY CLASSES: Tuition is $20 per class, sliding scale. First sibling is 50% off, any other siblings are free. If you join mid-season we will prorate tuition.
There are 12 classes in each season. If you pay in advance for the season we’ll factor in two make-ups and charge $200.
DROP INS: $20 or best offer.
DISCOUNTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE! (especially for multiple siblings.) All Around This World doesn’t turn away anyone for lack of funds.
