Adriano Celentano is a delightfully awesome Italian singer-songwriter-comedian who has sold over 150 million albums worldwide, and has starred in dozens of films. Italians have loved Celentano from as far back as the late 1950’s but he rocketed to international fame in the early ‘70s with the phenomenal “Prisencolinensinainciusol,” linked behind the video above. The lyrics of the song are total gibberish, poking fun at the way English-language pop music sounds to non English-speaking Italians. We love it.
