THE CULTURAL APPRECIATION PROJECT: DO A DANCE

There are SO MANY KINDS OF VIDEOS you can contribute to the Cultural Appreciation Project, All Around This World’s ambitous 2024 effort to collect 1000 culture-celebrating videos to raise money to seed our fund to support traditional musicians. For example, you can DO A DANCE! In this video, Jay Sand, founder and lead teacher of All Around This World, and members of his family, introduce an Eastern European circle dance common at Jewish life cycle events like a b’nei mitzvah or wedding, by dancing around the living room at their annual Channukah party. (That’s a lot of Jewish things in one sentence!)
